WHEN BROOKLYN WAS QUEER Wins the 2019-2020 NYC Book Award

I am delighted to announce that WHEN BROOKLYN WAS QUEER is a winner of the 2019-2020 New York City Book Awards, given out by the New York Society Library. To see the full list of winners, click here. Due to the pandemic, the awards were not held last year, but will be held in the summer of 2021.

“Founded in 1995, these awards honor the best books about New York City published in a given year, regardless of genre. The book awards jury reviewed roughly 150 NYC-related books published last year before making these selections.”
